VTC STEAM EDUCATION CENTRE

As the largest Vocational and Professional Education and Training (VPET) provider in Hong Kong, the Vocational Training Council (VTC) plays an important role in nurturing STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) talents who can rise to the challenges facing our society. VTC STEAM Education Centre was established to inspire a growing community of STEAM learners and professionals, in line with government's efforts to cultivate smart people for the forthcoming developments in Hong Kong.

Science

Engineering

Engineering is the application of mathematics, and scientific, economic, social, and practical knowledge, to invent, design, build, maintain, and improve structures, machines, systems, materials, processes, and organizations.

Mathematics

Mathematics is the abstract science which investigates deductively the conclusions implicit in the elementary conceptions of spatial and numerical relations, and which includes geometry, arithmetic, and algebra.
