The third International STEM Students’ Forum (ISSF) was successfully held on 16 May 2020. This year’s theme – “Innovation in STEM”, the ISSF 2020 was transformed to a virtual format connecting with students and teacher to explore the exciting world of STEM in a digital platform while facing the global challenges of COVID-19. To passionately embrace the digital world, the ISSF 2020 engaged over 3,000 viewers online to explore the exciting world of STEM, with having over 6,000 online views.

The ISSF 2020 featured industry leaders and STEM students and graduates from different countries and regions to discuss a number of topics facing in this era of digitalisation transformation, covering the current trends for STEM careers, the demands for STEM skills in the workplace, the challenges and opportunities for STEM start-ups. What’s more, a line-up of STEM student project teams formed by VTC STEM students and their peers from Australia, Japan, Singapore, Thailand and the United Kingdom presented their collaborative applied research projects at the digital platform.
